This site is a bulletin board that connects people who want firewood delivered with independent local people ("runners") who sell and deliver it. By using the site you agree to these terms.
The site lists orders, shows posted prices, lets approved runners take orders, and keeps delivery photos and ratings. The site does not sell firewood, does not employ runners, does not handle any money, and does not guarantee any delivery. Every sale is between the customer and the runner.
All orders are hardwood, split to about 16 inches. Sizes follow the Texas legal cord: a full cord is 128 cubic feet stacked (4 ft × 8 ft × 4 ft), a half cord is 64 cubic feet, and a quarter cord is 32 cubic feet. "Seasoned" means cut and dried at least 6 months. Runners are responsible for delivering the full amount and the type ordered, and for following Texas weights and measures rules.
Prices are posted on the site and include delivery inside the listed towns. Stacking is an add-on at the posted price. The customer pays the runner the posted total in person at delivery. Runners may not charge more than the posted total. The site is not involved in payment and can't issue refunds. Settle any problem directly, and use the rating to report it.
Give an accurate address and delivery notes, be reachable at the phone number you provide, and be ready to pay at delivery. Repeated no-shows, late cancellations or payment problems can get your account suspended.
Runners are independent sellers, not employees or agents of the site. Runners must be approved before taking jobs, deliver within the posted time or release the job, post a real photo of each delivery, and keep faces, house numbers and license plates out of photos. Runners are responsible for their own vehicles, tools, insurance, taxes and conduct, and for any damage or injury on a customer's property. The site may suspend any runner at any time.
Ratings are about the wood and the delivery. Written comments and replies are reviewed before they are posted. Comments about a person's appearance, background or personal life, name-calling, threats, and anything the site owner judges unfair or untrue won't be posted. The site may hide delivery photos or comments at any time.
Your phone number and address are shared only with the other person on an order you're part of, after a runner takes it. The site doesn't sell your information.
The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its owner aren't responsible for the quality, quantity or delivery of any firewood, for anything that happens during a delivery, or for any dispute between users. The site may change these terms, prices, or the service, or shut down, at any time.
