What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, mobile phone number and town, and a password (stored only in scrambled form, never in plain text).
• Orders: delivery address, ZIP, size, wood type, notes, preferred date, and the status of the order.
• Runner applications: truck or trailer description, towns served and a short bio.
• Delivery photos, ratings, comments and replies.
• Messages you send through the contact form.

We do not collect card numbers or bank details. This site does not take payments.

How we use it

To run the service: matching orders with runners, letting you and your runner contact each other, showing delivery photos and ratings, reviewing applications and comments, preventing abuse, and answering your questions. We may email you about your orders or account if email is turned on for the site.

Who can see it

• Runners browsing open jobs see only the town, size, wood type, price and any needed-by date. They do not see your name, address or phone.
• The runner who takes your order sees your name, address, phone and notes for that order. You see their name, phone and truck.
• The public sees a runner's first name and last initial, truck, towns, ratings, approved comments and replies, and delivery photos. Customers are never named publicly. Delivery photos may show the wood and the surroundings, so runners are asked to keep faces, house numbers and license plates out of photos.
• The site owner can see everything above in order to run and moderate the site.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and tracking

We use one cookie to keep you logged in. It is signed so it can't be altered and it is used for nothing else. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when a page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep account, order and rating information while the account is active and as long as needed to resolve disputes and keep records of how runners have performed. You can ask us to delete your account and personal details through the contact form. Ratings and orders connected to a runner's record may be kept in a form that doesn't identify you.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, stores passwords in scrambled form, limits repeated login attempts and restricts the admin area. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.

Children

This site is for adults. Customers and runners must be 18 or older.
